LEAKED GATCHAMAN TRAILER
Imagi studios has been working on this adaption of the Japanese anime series, but it was rumored to have been shelved. Well, now a trailer for the film has leaked out.
I grew up with this show back in the 70s, it was known as BATTLE OF THE PLANETS but everyone called it G-FORCE.
I hope to god they don't shelve this.

Trailer for new racing game "Blur"
I am not a huge fan of racing games, like if 10 racing games come out there is a slime chance I will one of them.
I was a fan of Mario Kart 64, Driver on the 1st playstation, Motorstorm... and that is about it. I could never grasp why people loved Grand Turismo so much. BORING AS HELL, no fast car chases, no battles, no high speed hi jinx ... it was realistic I will give it that.
This game Blur looks incredible, I do not have a clue of how it will play, but it sure looks fun.

I was a huge fan of Robotech as a child, I thought it was way ahead of its time and the animation was like nothing North American television had seen.

Carl Macek passed away yesterday from a heart attack. The man was famous -- and infamous -- for creating Robotech and bringing it to America in the mid-'80s. The "infamous" part drives me crazy because if one man is responsible for making anime popular in America, it's Carl Macek.Robotech was a brilliant idea, excellently executed -- it's not like Macross, Southern Cross or Mospeada had a chance in hell of getting on U.S. TV by themselves -- and while G.I. Joe and Transformers had great toys,Robotech had a great story as well as great characters. Rick Hunter drove us crazy. We pined for Lisa Hayes. We wanted to chuck Minmei off a cliff. And we lost our minds when Roy Fokker died, a notion that seemed unthinkable in 1985.

New animated Gigantor movie known as T28.
I just so happens that I got the live action Japanese produced Gigantor from netflicks in my mailbox today.
I dunno about this movie, voices sound like crap, looks like it wants to capitalize on the minor success Astro boy had.
But hey, it has Big Robots... I must watch it.
Why call it T28... his name is Gigantor!
