THE MAXX ON DVD

I am still floored that THE MAXX is not available anywhere but Amazon.

I ordered mine before Christmas and watched it twice, the movie is a a trip no doubt.

If your gungho about all your animation looking like PIXAR well this is not for you.

I have mentioned I own the DVD to a few people and they look at me as the worlds biggest liar...no its out on DVD!!!

My 1st Amazon purchase...

THE MAXX OUT ON DVD, I absolutely love this animated show. It took years for it to come out on DVD, cant find it here in Canada so I made my 1st Amazon purchase.

I have no idea why this was never put onto DVD, it is a kick ass trippy animated series.

’90s nostalgia alert! All 13 episodes ofThe Maxx, the ultra quirky cartoon based on Sam Kieth’s mega-quirky comic book, will be out next year on DVD-R. The disc includes interviews with Kieth and director Gregg Vanzo as well as audio commentary.
It’s not quite a done deal though — no release date is given and the Amazon listing mysteriously says “This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com’s standard return policy will apply.”
Hopefully this gem will be released and we will remember a time when MTV was not just the network of boob jobs and faux-lebrities.
